Sounds
The concert was recorded on a Walkman (with the stereo mike incorporated)
then recorded to wave files at 32000 Hz/8bit/mono.
Those files were then encoded into Real Audio and MP3.
I have not found space for the MP3s as the Real Audios were alreadyquite a handful
line
One week later
line
All in all there are 73 sound files on this 50meg site. (68.3 meg just for the Real Audio).
So that made me decide to just go Real Audio instead of Real Audio and MP3. I can send you MP3 if you want just mail me.
Another problem is the site (http://www3.50megs.com/) will accept uploads exceeding 1 meg (up to 1.5 meg) but then will not play them back - just the ' the file is too big' is too big message.
Stringkiller hates to do things twice ;-(
So the 25 sound files files that are larger than 1 meg are scattered around 6 other web sites.
The 'speeches' are from 44 to 55 (that's the fourth file on page 5 to the fifth file on page 6).
Ludmilla singing is file 68, which you can find on page 7 as the eighth file down.
Anyhow you can hear how quiet Dr Pickup is playing and from the sound files I hope you'll agree we helped make a very fun evening.
